Daily Life

Just because we live simply, doesn't mean we don't have fun. Indoor activities include watching television, listening to music, and getting on the internet. But, we only listen to clean music with positive messages so that our islanders don't recieve bad messages.Outdoor activities include playing in the luxuriously soft sand, swimming and fishing in the ocean, and enjoying the beautiful view. Annual competitions include fruit eating competitions, competitive swimming, and competitive fishing.
If an individual gets sick, then they are taken care of pro bono in the hospital by the doctors of the island.
An individual may either retire at the age of 70, or wait a few years and then retire. During this time they stay at home and do whatever they please with the rest of their lives

Religion

On the island of Jazobia, we are very strong Christians and we pray everyday. That's probably why our island thrives so much. Every night we have a sunset praying session in the church. The picture to the left is where our church is located. It is on the east of the island. The river around it is where baptism is performed.

Good Morning

Every morning our people awake to a beautiful day and a nutritious breakfast. On Saturday mornings we all eat together at a gathering place nearby the church. Our breakfast ranges from fresh fruit to warm Belgium waffles. On other days breakfast is eaten with their family. We make sure that our people have a well balanced breakfast. Even if they are on the go, fresh fruit or energy bars are offered to them if the have not eaten. On the island of Jazobia, no one starves!

Laws of Jazobia

We have few laws, but we enforce them greatly. Failure to follow them will be punishable by community service (i.e. cleaning up after animals, street sweeping, etc). The type of community service and the time of service will be decided in the council house by the elders.This only goes for individuals 13 and up. The punishment of children is decided by the parents.

I-No murder
II-No theft
III-No physical harassment to individuals of any age
IV- No sexual harassment to individuals of any age, prostitution, or adultery
V- No gossip
VI- Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Goverment

On the island of Jazobia, our goverment is a rather simple one.There are no presidents, senators, of judges. We have a direct democracy. The people govern themselves. Before big decisions are to take effect, all the islanders must meet in the council hall. This is a building in the center of the island.
As for currency, we follow a rather simple method for that also. Everything is free. We are a very generous people. But, every family is responsible for donating something to the community. For instance, some families will be responsible for growing fruits and vegetables, others will be responsible for breeding cattle and poultry, and others will be responsible for cooking all the food. The tasks rotate each month. As for imports,our land is very rich in gold and diamonds, so we trade instead of buy with money.
